Peter Michael Wormleighton

Peter Michael Wormleighton is a British multi‑disciplinary creative director, artist and producer whose work bridges culture and technology with equal fluency. He is currently Creative Director at CDL, the UK’s largest InsurTech service provider, where he shapes the global brand and product vision of a £60 million‑plus, 650‑person organisation. Peter leads CDL’s drive toward an AI‑first, data‑platform future - overseeing international expansion, consumer‑facing ventures and emerging‑technology across web, mobile and XR.

Peter’s career began in the art studio and after earning a B.A. (Hons) in Interactive Arts in 2008, he exhibited mixed‑media installations at Manchester’s Grosvenor, Link and Holden galleries, exploring the intersection of man, nature and technology.

In fashion he co‑founded the luxury label Nabil Nayal, steering brand strategy, digital print design and 3‑D garment innovation. The house became the first to send 3‑D‑printed pieces down a major runway at London Fashion Week 2012, and was twice shortlisted for the prestigious LVMH Prize in Paris.

As a photographer, Peter’s work has appeared in Vogue (UK, Italia, Arabia), Elle, Wonderland and Q Magazine. He has captured cultural icons from Karl Lagerfeld to Kanye West and was personally invited by Delphine Arnault to document VIP guests at LVMH events in Paris. His moving‑image work includes music videos and fashion films shot in London, Paris and Los Angeles for Universal Music and Sony artists.

Music remains a core strand: with electro‑pop trio Loebeat he played 60+ shows, earned BBC Radio 1 and NME support, and later wrote and produced for major-label acts. He ran a boutique imprint under Universal Music UK and served as creative consultant to legendary hit‑maker Brian Higgins of Xenomania.

Today Peter channels this cross‑disciplinary DNA into STUDiiO, a platform he founded to incubate independent creators and frontier technology projects spanning fashion, art, music and tech. He also mentors at fashion‑tech accelerators and speaks on digital and creative business strategy at universities and industry events.

Hailed by journalist Peter Robinson as “a creative genius,” Peter Michael Wormleighton pairs relentless curiosity with executive rigour - building brands, experiences and products that resonate where culture, commerce and innovation converge.
